The Fiji National Rugby League (FNRL) is calling on all fans, families, and friends to
come in numbers to support their Favourite teams in the thrilling Vodafone Cup national
quarterfinals this Saturday, September 14th, at Lawaqa Park, Sigatoka.
This week’s match-ups promise excitement as four top teams from the Eastern State
Rugby League and Muaira Rugby League compete for a coveted spot in the Grand
Semi finals. A highlight of this year’s tournament is the inclusion of two new teams—
Topline Warriors and Laselase Cowboys—who will challenge experienced sides like
Warwick Vusu Raiders and Ravoravo Rabbitohs.
Laselase Cowboys Head Coach, Mr. Isimeli Kurisavulevu, expressed his team’s
excitement ahead of the big weekend. “Regardless of the outcome, we’re thrilled to
have come this far. We encourage everyone near Sigatoka to come out and cheer
for the team,” said Kurisavulevu.
