Blue Gas Police Sharks have stunned a powerful Sea Eagles side to win 8-6 at Ratu Cakobau Park earlier this morning.
Sharks fly-half Timoci Namotukula kicked a penalty to have them lead 2 - 0 about 10 minutes before the half-time hooter. Eagles then returned to open an exciting 2nd-half with a converted try at the tenth minute from Marika Nagata. Sharks drove back the Sea Eagles onslaught and secured a victory with a converted try by Lock forward Aca Saukuru 13 minutes from fulltime.
Both teams were littered with Resident stars and the opening 40 minutes proved a free-flowing contest.
